Virginia is officially a battleground state.
Newsweek and the Richmond Times Dispatch have Kerry trailing Bush by only 3 pts, pre and post convention. Kerry is, of course, leading in Northern VA and Richmond but he has also now leading in the Tidewater region (mostly military) and around Lynchburg and Charlottesville (artsy, academic area). That means it’s completely possible for VA to go blue in November. A lot will depend on turnout. So, Democrats, spread the word. Your votes matter in VA this election. |
