This past weekend was an emotional whirlwind for me. The main thing obviously was Kenji and Cyndi’s wedding. And even though I fought back tears a few times, I hope I’m never some sort of robot dinosaur monster that isn’t moved by something so beautiful. Every detail was just right and the ceremony and reception were very authentic and sweet like the people they featured. Beyond the wedding, it was really good to just chill with friends and relax a little. I think I took 4 naps at Dave and Katherine’s and shot plenty of wind with others. I’m back now feeling genuinely rested and a lot less tense. Thanks to everyone that came out and contributed to such a great weekend. Glad we reconnected. |
